Kid Friendly Measures of Working Memory

Hat tip to the Intelligence Testing blog for a nice summary of a kind-friendly measure of working memory, and a link to a very interesting article examining the relationships between measures of WM, processing speed, Raven standard matrices and several Piagetian tasks (balance, islands, and line folding tasks). An interesting dialogue is beginning to develop in the literature between psychometrics and cognitive psychology; it will be interesting to see where this takes the two fields.
