After expressing suicide intentions on his blog, Mindpixel founder Chris McKinstry was found dead in Chile on January 23rd, as reported in the El Mercurio.

That's very sad news to hear. Chris' attempt at AI was certainly bold and spirited, hopefully someone will take on the project and keep it alive.
